Founded in 1932, the institution enrolls more than 1,100 students on the main campus. Vaughn recently partnered with Sreenidhi Institute of Technology in Hyderabad, India and now offers degree programs to students in India. In fall 2007, Vaughn opened its first residence hall, and in the next three years plans to build a new library/community resource center, conference center and student center.
